Christian Futures helped host the 2nd annual Futures Conference for Christian Leaders, for three-days in Virginia, Beach. Over forty leaders came to Regent University to learn how to set their company, organization or ministry on a higher playing field.
 

Paradigms of the Future

How has faith's view of the future been shaped by large-scale paradigms throughout history? And how should theology shape our forward view of the future? Jay Gary hosted a 2-day "Christian Futures" consultation Nov 20-21st in Atlanta, right before the American Academy of Religion meets. The consultation explored whether Christian eschatology was still relevant, or whether it was barking up the wrong tree.

Regent University's Leadership Studies program hosted a 2-day conference focusing on "strategic foresight," featuring nationally known futurists from business, academic and faith-based settings.

Is Your Ministry Ready for the Future?

How can our ministries and faith communities develop leaders that have a fluency with a changing and complex future? Jay Gary hosted a consultation, July 20-21 in San Francisco, immediately following the WFS, to examine "best practices" in raising up leaders of faith and foresight, through both formal and informal training. Now another "Foresight" Roundtable is being planning for September 26-27th in Virginia Beach, at Regent University.
