Dr. Robert Duncan, president of Bacone College in Muskogee, OK, hosted a 3-day leadership summit, Sept 25-27, on Christian Futuring & Planning for church growth consultants, pastors and ministry majors. Duncan, the author of 'Trajectory', studied under Leonard Sweet at Drew, and also now teaches with them in the MDiv program. Jay Gary addressed the consultation on 'Framing Christian Futuring.'

Regent to Launch 'Futures' Degree

Regent University launched a new Master's degree in strategic foresight the Fall of 2006. The online program allows professionals to study the future in the context of organizational decision-making, while continuing to work full-time. Dr. Jay Gary will teach in the program, along with other professional futurists. Offered by the School of Global Leadership and Entrepreneurship at Regent, students will be able to finish the program in 18 to 36 months. Be part of this dynamic new program for mid-professional Christian leaders. Application deadlines are three times a year.

Campus Revival to Host June Institute at Yale

Collegiate Impact is hosting a week long institute for campus ministry workers June 21-28, at Yale University. The event, entitled, "The Institute of Campus Revival and Awakening," endeavors to help college ministries develop and appreciate the history of student awakening and movements.
