Regent University hosted a fifth annual futures workshop for Christian leaders that featured Graham Molitor and Jay Gary on Sept 20th in Virginia Beach, VA. Molitor shared his full spectum model on forecasting patterns of change. Up to thirty-nine leaders asked, 'How can our advocacy groups, corporations, ministries, or universities understand the sea change around them, and steer their ship away from icebergs, to find islands of opportunity?' As we consider the future of world missions over the next 30 years, what should change in world missions, and what should not? On December 8th, Christian Futures hosted a Forum on global leadership in mission, with 30 participants gathered in three locations: Boulder, Denver, and Colorado Springs. Dr. David Hesselgrave, author of Paradigms in Conflict (2005), brought the keynote.
